Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GamerNODE, operated by Jaffe Systems ("GamerNODE", "we", "us") — including the GamerNODE Twitch Extension, the companion desktop app, our backend service, and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The short version GamerNODE is a free-to-play prediction game. GN points are free, virtual, and have no cash value — you can't buy, sell, or cash them out. It's not gambling. Use it fairly, and play nice.

1. What GamerNODE is

GamerNODE turns a League of Legends match into a live prediction game. Viewers predict the streamer's role in the game's First Blood — KILL, ASSIST, VICTIM, or MIA — using free in-app "GN" points. When First Blood occurs, the round resolves and points are distributed among correct predictors.

2. GN points

  • GN points are a free, virtual scorekeeping mechanic with no monetary value.
  • They cannot be purchased, sold, traded, transferred, redeemed, or withdrawn for money or anything of value.
  • No purchase is necessary, and GamerNODE involves no wagering of real money or anything of value. It is a prediction game, not gambling or betting.
  • GN points are awarded daily for free and are specific to each channel. We may adjust, reset, or expire GN points, balances, and leaderboards at any time, including to fix errors or abuse.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Twitch in your location) and able to form a binding agreement. You are responsible for complying with the Twitch Terms of Service and, where applicable, Riot Games' terms, while using the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • cheat, manipulate outcomes, or exploit bugs in the prediction or points systems;
  • use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with the Service or farm GN points;
  • operate multiple or fake accounts to gain an unfair advantage;
  • interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
  • use the Service to harass others or violate any law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or remove access, and reset balances or standings, for conduct that violates these Terms.

5. Streamers & the companion app

If you run GamerNODE on your channel, you authorize the companion app and Extension to act on your channel — including reading your live match data locally and posting round messages to your chat via your authorized Twitch token. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for pairing the correct channel. You can disconnect at any time in your Twitch settings.

6. Availability & changes

The Service is offered on an "as available" basis and is under active development (beta). We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service — including GN points and features — at any time without liability. We may also update these Terms as described in Section 11.

7. Intellectual property

GamerNODE, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Jaffe Systems and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved. League of Legends, Riot Games, and Twitch marks belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that round outcomes or points will always be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAFFE SYSTEMS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, GN POINTS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Because GN points have no monetary value, you acknowledge that loss of GN points carries no cash value or compensable loss.

10. Non-affiliation

GamerNODE isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. GamerNODE is not affiliated with Twitch Interactive, Inc.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Jaffe Systems' place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.
