Setup Guide
GamerNODE has two halves: the Twitch Extension your viewers see on stream, and the companion app that runs on your gaming PC and reads your live match. Set both up once — after that, rounds open and resolve automatically every ranked game.
The short version
Install the extension on Twitch, run the companion app, sign in with Twitch. Done — your next ranked Solo/Duo game opens a prediction round by itself.
1. Install the extension on your channel
- In the Twitch Creator Dashboard, open Extensions and search for GamerNODE.
- Install it and activate it as your Video Overlay (Video - Fullscreen).
- The overlay sits bottom-left and stays idle until a round opens — it never covers your gameplay with anything you didn't start.
2. Install the companion app
- Download the Windows installer and run it.
- Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unrecognized app while GamerNODE is in beta — the installer isn't code-signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- The companion is a small desktop app that reads your live League match locally (Riot's Live Client Data API on your own PC) — it never touches your Riot account or credentials.
- Windows is supported today; macOS is planned. League has no Linux client, so there is no Linux build.
3. Sign in with Twitch
- Click Sign in with Twitch in the companion. Your browser opens Twitch's standard authorization page — we never see your password.
- Signing in automatically pairs the app with your channel. No codes, no copy-paste.
4. Optional settings
- Stream delay — if you broadcast with a delay, set the same delay in Settings. The app holds the lock and the First Blood reveal by that long, so results never spoil ahead of your stream.
- Chat messages — choose which round announcements (open / locked / result) the app posts to your chat as you. All of them can be turned off.
- Language — the app and overlay speak English, Português, Español, Deutsch, Français, and Italiano.
5. Play
Queue ranked Solo/Duo on Summoner's Rift. The prediction window opens at champ select, viewers lock their calls by 0:30 of game time, and the round resolves itself the moment First Blood happens. Other queues (flex, normals, ARAM, customs) don't open rounds.
Didn't work?
- No round opened — rounds only open for ranked Solo/Duo on Summoner's Rift, with the companion running and signed in.
- Overlay says "waiting for match" — make sure the companion shows your game on the Live Match tab.
- Anything else — see Support.
