Privacy Policy

Effective June 2, 2026 · Last updated June 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information GamerNODE collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. GamerNODE is operated by Jaffe Systems ("GamerNODE", "we", "us"). It applies to the GamerNODE Twitch Extension, the GamerNODE companion desktop app, our backend service, and this website (together, the "Service").

The short version GamerNODE is a completely free prediction game — no points, no purchases. We don't sell your data, we don't run third-party ad tracking, and we never access your Riot Games account or your Twitch password. Viewers are identified only by an anonymous, per-channel Twitch ID — not your real name or email.

1. Who we are & how to reach us

The Service is provided by Jaffe Systems. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@gamernode.online

2. Information we collect

Viewers (Twitch Extension)

When you use the GamerNODE overlay on a channel, the Twitch Extension framework gives us an opaque, per-channel user identifier. We do not request a Twitch Identity Link, so we do not receive your Twitch display name, email, or real identity. In connection with gameplay we process:

  • your anonymous per-channel ID;
  • your predictions (which First Blood outcome you call);
  • your per-channel prediction record (correct and wrong counts, and the accuracy derived from them);
  • leaderboard standing for that channel (shown publicly as "Viewer ####", derived from the anonymous ID).

Streamers (companion app & configuration)

When you sign in to the companion app or configure the Extension, we process, via Twitch's official OAuth flow:

  • your Twitch user ID, channel ID, and display name;
  • Twitch access and refresh tokens — held by the companion app on your own computer (the refresh token in your OS keychain); our backend brokers the Twitch sign-in but does not store your Twitch tokens;
  • the pairing link between your channel and your companion app.

We never see or store your Twitch password — authentication happens entirely through Twitch.

Game data read locally on a streamer's PC

The companion app reads your live League of Legends match from Riot's Live Client Data API on your own computer (a local 127.0.0.1 endpoint exposed by your game client). This is used only to detect the First Blood event and the streamer's role in it. The app processes this locally and sends our backend only the resulting First Blood outcome needed to resolve the round. We do not access your Riot account, credentials, or any data outside your live match.

Technical data

Like any internet service, our servers automatically receive standard request data (such as IP address and timestamps) to deliver responses, maintain security, and prevent abuse. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

3. How we use information

  • operate the prediction game — open/lock/resolve rounds, score predictions correct or wrong, and build per-channel records and leaderboards;
  • post round status messages to a streamer's chat (via the streamer's authorized Twitch token);
  • maintain your session and link your channel to your companion app;
  • secure the Service, prevent cheating and abuse, and debug problems.

4. No points, no monetary value

GamerNODE involves no points, currency, or virtual goods. Your prediction record is a free scorekeeping tally (correct/wrong) that cannot be purchased, sold, redeemed, or withdrawn, and has no cash value. GamerNODE is a prediction game, not gambling or betting.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that operate the Service on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare — hosting and data storage for our backend (databases, key-value storage, and stateful round objects);
  • Twitch (Twitch Interactive, Inc.) — the platform the Extension runs on and through which authentication and chat messages flow.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.

6. Data retention

We keep account, session, points, and pairing data for as long as you use the Service, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your rights"). Streamer tokens are invalidated when you disconnect or revoke access in your Twitch settings.

7. Your rights & choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing support@gamernode.online. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor applicable requests. Streamers can revoke GamerNODE's access at any time in their Twitch Connections settings.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and you must meet Twitch's minimum age requirement to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/WSS), server-side storage of secrets, and signed/verified requests between the Extension, companion app, and backend. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. International transfers

Our infrastructure provider operates globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
